On Being Led to the Hibiscus

Tonight I sit here sipping Hibiscus tea, nothing strange about that accept I had in mind a deeper red tea I tried earlier this year at my favorite Spiritual store in Lubbock.  I simply asked "Do you guys have any more of the deep red Hibiscus tea I tried earlier this year?"  sure she said here you go, "is the red when brewed?"  Yes she said and handed me a beautiful brown sack of Hibiscus tea and a wonderful muslin bag, Still nothing unusual about this scene.  I brewed the tea into my favorite purple Starbucks cup I bought off my friend Ruth this summer and it wasn't the deep blood red tea I remember from the store this past spring but a normal looking tea brown, delicious tasting as well.  Oh well not what I envisioned but tasty, locally sourced and bought at my friends cool little store.
I've been feeling rumblings in the Spirit of another "being" in my field and I have been manifesting my ass off and really opening up for a new relationships,  doing all my "middle steps" and Right actions. And literally all the readings I've gotten as of late confirm the same thing, that along with some other life changes "someone" is coming down the pipe.

Hmmm, so what are the metaphysical properties of the Hibiscus flower essence?  OH Dear...but of course!  This is an exact example of why I love the space and place that I am in right now spiritually, I don't even have to manipulate or try.  My higher self and the Universe are just doing their thing and I am happily (for the most part) going along for the ride.   As it turns out the metaphysical properties of the Hibiscus are: Hibiscus flower essence energizes the first and second chakras, undoing blockages in the lower back and spine, and healing reproductive ailments, including infertility problems, frigidity or lack of feeling, as well as acting as a balm for long-held scars of sexual trauma.  Raise your hand if you were raped in 2010 and never got over it and swore off all intimate relationships since then...me, me!!!  Some Magical properties of Hibiscus are: Freedom, Harmony and Relaxation, Independence, Passion, Romance, Sexual Desire, Swift Assistance and Activation. Planetary association: Venus and Gender association: Feminine and traditionally in Hawaii a single Hibiscus is placed behind the ear to signal availability for marriage. The hibiscus is used to attract love or lust and prophetic dreams, I love it and I'm ready for all of the above!  This is confirmation to me and me alone, that I am not crazy and changes are coming, seriously though it's about damn time! 💗

Sedna, an Inuit Sea Goddess and Queen of the Eskimo Underworld, lives at the bottom of the cold ocean. She is the goddess of the sea and she is the one who provides animals for the hunters, but only when she feels generous. When she is angry, and this is often, the hunters can’t find food; and the people go hungry.  You can listen to a brief audio version of the story of Sedna Here are the Credits:  Story retold by Mary Mahoney Audio version performed by Cam Culham.  Basically (in my words) at the behest of her father, Sedna felt pressure to get married and a smooth talking imposter promised her the moon and stars but when poor Sedna arrived at her new home it was a nightmare and the man turned out to be an evil bird.  Sedna cried for her father who did come to rescue her but when attacked by her husband Sedna’s father three his daughter overboard out of fear for his life.  As Sedna clung helplessly to the side of the boat her father chopper her fingers off which floated out to sea becoming the whales and other Marine life to which mankind can live.

Even in today’s Inuit culture (Nunavut) “The blessings of Sedna are still sought by the people of the North, who know it is She (Sedna) who sustains them.” As a current Nunavut fishing tradition “Before hunts, Inuit shamans ritually served both Sedna and Qailertetang (Sedna’s underwater companion) on behalf of their people, recognizing the immense sacrifice humans ask of these two powerful sea-mothers.” The Inuit practiced a form of shamanism based on animist principles. Among the Canadian Inuit, the shaman was known as an Angakkuq. The Angakkug (Shaman)is responsible for appeasing the Sea Woman so that she would release marine animals so that the community not suffer scarcity. The Myth of the Goddess Sedna is far reaching so much so that a heavenly object discovered on November 13^th 2003 (10:42 pm) was named after her.  This Planet is believed to be half ice, half rock and the second reddest body in Solar system behind Mars.  Per Valkyrie Astrology This Planet is different from others as “She does not make her home in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter; Sedna's domain is beyond the Kuiper Belt, in what astronomers believe is the Inner Oört Cloud, from which comets are believed to originate.  Sedna is about 1000 miles in diameter, which is very large for an Oört Cloud object.   “Sedna moves so slowly that her influence extends beyond the generational effect of the outer planets such as Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.”  Supposedly there are distinct current day parallels and synchronicities in Astrology that line up with the story of Sedna that could be affecting your chart. Sedna can also be contacted through Meditations such as the one offered by Heddy Johannesen. “Prepare yourself by lighting a dark blue candle. Dark blue represents the watery depths of the ocean. The Element of Water symbolizes the power of intuition and the inner self. Burn jasmine incense, which corresponds with Water. Cover your altar with a dark blue altar cloth to represent the Element of Water. Place a few seashells and a lapis lazuli gemstone on your altar. Lapis lazuli aids a person in conscious attunement to the psychic self. Sit, relax, and make sure you will not be disturbed. Take three deep breaths to cleanse your mind, body and spirit then return to a normal rhythm of breathing, avoiding shallow breathing. With each in breath, inhale positive energy and on each exhale, release negativity; draw in relaxation and release tension; inhale harmony and exhale discord. Attached is my Invocation to Sedna for True Love & My Altar dedicated to the Goddess Sedna who supplies all Human Borrowers with the Bounty of the Sea so Womankind will not go hungry.  I am offering containers of water and things representing the sea such as Sea Shells I collected from my trips to the ocean and other Blue Items as well as Tarot Cards that represent love, dreams and intuition. I also used blue stones & crystals to further appease the Sea Goddess so she will grant my wish.  If you can stand near a body of water or the Ocean this Invocation works best. Use this invocation and offerings to Sedna for not only True Love but any other need or situation you may have that the Goddess can supply for you. Be sure to clean altar first.

Love Ritual for February 2017

Interview with the Goddess of Love Venus (in honor of the Month of Love ☺)

Something caught my eye right off the bat, when the author Zsuzsanna referred to her usual “trancing habits” for connecting with the Goddess Venus which basically appears to be fasting or eating very little that day and going out into nature for a walk careful not to exhaust herself. Exhaust the Body free the Mind is very much how I prepare to “receive” or make something happen. In fact, today I have intentionally eaten very little in preparation of getting Insights from the Divine on life choices, next steps and calling in LOVE now. I woke up feeling like rest, meditation and fasting as well as finishing this assignment. J But not much more physically will be required, I even took myself off the Massage Schedule so I could rest, recoup, and re-center this weekend. My Ego was all like “you are missing out on money” but my Goddess Self is all “Get this straight and the money will flow with no effort on your part!” ☺ Such arguments in my head…

For My Ritual today I lit a Red Candle (chime) for Love and anointed it with Frankincense oil and lit a Rose incense stick. I consecrated that candle (stroking the oil from top to bottom so as to receive and lit with Left hand) with Love and Gratitude to:

All those who love me Past, Present and Future

All my Clients Past, Present and Future

All my Friends who are on my team Past, Present and Future

All my lovers Past, Present and Future

All monies that have been made Past, Present and Future

All my business success Past, Present and Future

To all my Family Past, Present and Future

To all my Pets Past, Present and Future

To Acknowledge my debt in a loving manner as a symbol of trust and ability to repay all, Past, Present and Future

I also sent out a bubble of peace, love and protection around my home down my block and to an area about 5 square blocks to which I call My Neighborhood.  Anyone driving past any of those streets will pass through my Love Bubble.  Of course you will want to Cast circle and cleanse yourself and your ritual space prior to engaging Deities and or performing your Work.

I read through the rest of the story but I already got the message, if you want to kick things up a notch, fasting in conjunction with your Magick will move you forward by leaps and bounds. And SO IT IS!

Ready, Set, Go!!

So here we all are Day One 2017 and of course of you are perfect and have no improvements needed or want for nothing, then by all means disregard this article and have fun sitting on your Dead One all year. Must be nice!

For the rest of us, time to get down to business as Times flies and waits for no one! I have a lot of shit I am working on that requires my Full on Attention, and the bulk of my energy and Magick!  Again as I mentioned before Goals that have not been placed down on paper at minimum and no dates are at best daydreams and wishful thinking on my humble opinion.  We just had a dark moon on the 28th-29th of December and now we sit at January first 2017 all ready well into the energy of the new year.

 

So my list has some very High Priority items on them that will require HUGE conjuring of energies, Chaos, Lunar, Planetary and every damn thing else I Can get my mind around.  So to keep it simple for me and My Magick I am giving myself until December 1st to accomplish the following list and in no specific order  (and by no means limited to):

1. Weight reduction by 30 lbs. or more

2. Relocation

3. Transfer Licenses to New states in Both Massage & Real Estate

4. Find new suitable living situation in new locations

5. Sell House here in current location

6. Sort out current business by taking on new partner or dissolving current business

7. Sell or give away all items that will not serve me in the new location

8. Set up new teaching positon in Massage

9. New Real Estate position

10. Hook up with buddies already in new location

11. Continue to grow current businesses so as to have a following and funds to live on in new location

12. At least $10k in Savings

13. Finish Goddess Studies Schooling

14. Finish Paper to complete Masters Degree

15. Continue to write and contribute creatively to blogs and articles

16. Continue drawing and painting for Gallery and online sales as well as improving skills

17. Meditate Daily

18. Finish decorating office and get professional photos done

Ok you get the point, I have A LOT to do, and I haven't got a single moment to lose. 

 

Some Lessons & Wisdom carried over from 2016 to help me accomplish all this?

1. Releasing (drop like it's hot!) all Person, places and things that do not contribute to the above list

2. Work Smarter not Harder (daily scheduling that serves me and my goals damn everyone else's issues)

3. Say NO when I want to Say no(or mean to) Screw all the Poor Mouthing Suckers

4. Honor my body and Feelings when I am fucking tired

5. Making daily Energy Choices that best serve me. If that means skipping weekends for the over all greater good of accomplishing my goals so be it.

6.  Zero Tolerance for Emotional Abuse or Manipulations

7. Separate myself physically and Spiritually guard against all known and unknown Energy Vampires

8. Keep the Finer Details of my overall plan to myself . I have put a lot out here, but not enough to destroy or diminish the Magick.

9. Always bear in mind the Serenity Prayer particularly the following: "Courage to change the things I can;"  That is the trick isn't it, I know what to do, I know what I want and I have to have the courage daily to say No when I mean No and Let the Universe handle people that can't understand that so I may keep my eye on the prize and bring forth the absolute Life of my Dreams!
